Full Professor,Head of the Orthodontic Unit,Past Dean of the School of Dentistry,Past Chair of the NEBEOP Postgraduate Orthodontic Program,at the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli in Naples.Past President of SIDO and the Mediterranean Orthodontic Integration Project.She is a member of the 2020–25 Executive Committee of the World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO),President-Elect of the WFO (2025–30),Chair of the International Orthodontic Congress in 2030.Member of several scientific societies.Editor for scientific journals.Graduated in Medicine,specialized in Orthodontics at the University of Naples Federico II,she completed her orthodontic training with a fellowship at the University of Michigan and obtained a Ph.D.in Interceptive Orthodontics at the University of Florence.Author of about 300 scientific publications,9 books and 10 book chapters.Her main research topics are early treatment, non-extraction treatment, dentofacial orthopedics, cleft lip and palate, and genetics.
